About the Speaker

Mike Gentile
President and CEO of CISOSHARE

Mike Gentile has been building information security programs for over 20 years in full time and consulting roles for over 100 highly regulated organizations. He has also served in more than ten vCISO positions over the last 15 years in organizations from funded start-ups to over a billion dollars.

Mike’s security program methodology is taught in my advanced security courses. His first book, CISO Handbook, was one of the first published works to provide a step-by-step methodical approach to building a security program.

Mike has also designed CISOSHARE’s security program development application. The app provides a suite of program measurement and other do-it-yourself tools for organizations to improve their security programs.
